Designs by Julaine offers a variety of sewing classes. We teach ages 9 and up. Beginning students learn about sewing machines, fabrics, patterns, and sew a variety of items. We start with a pillow case or pillow, make a pair of lounge/pajama pants, and make a reusable tote. Intermediate and advanced students work up from there, making skirts, dresses, pants, flat pattern pieces or home decor projects. Sew Creative Prep offers a Fashion Design Program for ages 10 & up. Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration, Fashion Show Production and Computer Aided Design are offered in a 10 month session. The program culminates with a Fashion Show in May and December. Sew Creative Prep hosts Fashion themed summer camps. Adult sewing classes are available with a 10 class card for customized, flexible scheduling.
